XBOX The Matrix Path of Neo Used Video Game

The Matrix: Path of Neo for the original Xbox (2005) is the only video game that allows players to play exclusively as Neo throughout the entire film trilogy. Written and directed by the Wachowskis, it features a unique "Director’s Cut" ending that differs from the movies.  

​Key Gameplay Features

​The One's Powers: Mastering "Bullet Time" (Focus) is central to the game. You can dodge bullets, run on walls, and perform gravity-defying martial arts.  

​Evolution of Neo: You begin as Thomas Anderson (stealth-focused missions) and evolve into "The One," gaining abilities like telekinesis to stop bullets and "Code Vision" to see the world as green data.  

​Iconic Scenes: Play through the lobby shootout, the dojo fight with Morpheus, the subway duel with Agent Smith, and the "Burly Brawl" against hundreds of Smiths.  

​RPG Elements: As you progress, you unlock new combat combos and supernatural abilities to increase Neo's power.  

​Compatibility: The original Xbox disc is backwards compatible with the Xbox 360.
