​Game Description:

​The game is set in the early 1990s and follows the story of Carl "CJ" Johnson, who returns to his home in Los Santos, a fictional city based on Los Angeles, after his mother is murdered. He finds that his old gang, the Grove Street Families, has lost its power, and he is framed for homicide by corrupt police officers. CJ is forced to embark on a journey across the entire fictional state of San Andreas (which also includes cities based on San Francisco and Las Vegas) to save his family and take back control of the streets.  

​The gameplay is a third-person, open-world experience where players can freely roam the state of San Andreas, completing missions to progress the story or engaging in a variety of side activities. The Xbox 360 version features enhanced graphics and some updated gameplay mechanics compared to the original PlayStation 2 and Xbox releases.  

​The "Platinum Hits" branding on the case signifies that the game was a top-seller and was re-released at a lower price point.
