Mattel 2008 Holiday Barbie Collector's Edition Doll (Damaged Packaging)

The 2008 Holiday Barbie is a milestone edition, marking the 20th Anniversary of the Holiday Barbie series. Designed by Sharon Zuckerman, this doll was inspired by the film Barbie™ in A Christmas Carol and is known for its sophisticated "winter wonderland" aesthetic.  

​Design & Aesthetic

​The Gown: Barbie wears a voluminous, shimmering silver and white gown. The bodice is textured with snowflake-inspired embroidery, and the floor-length skirt features multiple tiers of accordion pleats that mimic the look of a snowflake.  

​The Bow: A signature detail is the large, trailing white chiffon bow at the back/waist, adding a high-fashion "collector" touch.  

​Accessories: She is adorned with long, silvery chandelier earrings and features classic holiday makeup, including deep red lipstick and subtle glittery eye shadow.  

​Hair: Her blonde hair is styled in a sophisticated curly ponytail swept to the side, with soft side-swept bangs.  

​Special Anniversary Features

​Collector Status: This was the first doll to officially celebrate two decades of the Holiday Barbie line (1988–2008).

​Packaging: The box features a vibrant red foil background with 3D snowflakes suspended around the doll, making it look as though she is standing in a snow globe.
