Game Description

BioShock 2 returns players to the magnificent and decaying underwater city of Rapture approximately ten years after the events of the original BioShock. The city is now dominated by the collectivist cult led by antagonist Sofia Lamb.

You play as Subject Delta, a formidable Big Daddy prototype (specifically, one of the original Alpha Series). Delta is the first Big Daddy to be paired with a single Little Sister, Eleanor Lamb. After being separated and awakening a decade later, Delta embarks on a desperate, emotional mission to reunite with Eleanor, his "daughter."

Key Features

Play as a Big Daddy: Experience the power and unique perspective of a Big Daddy, complete with a powerful Drill for melee combat and a rivet gun.

Dual-Wielding: A major gameplay improvement allows the player to simultaneously wield a weapon in one hand and a Plasmid power in the other, creating powerful and immediate combat combinations.

New Enemies: Face off against new, terrifying threats, most notably the agile and powerful Big Sisters, as well as new variations of Splicers.

Little Sister Mechanics: The core moral choice from the first game returns with an added layer of strategy. After defeating a Big Daddy, you must choose to Rescue or Harvest the Little Sister. Additionally, you can adopt a Little Sister and guide her to gather ADAM from corpses, requiring you to set traps and actively defend her from relentless Splicer attacks.

Moral Choices and Multiple Endings: Your decisions throughout the game, particularly concerning the Little Sisters and key characters, will dramatically influence the game's final resolution, leading to four possible endings.

Multiplayer Mode (Original Feature): The original Xbox 360 version includes a separate story-driven multiplayer experience called "Fall of Rapture," set during the civil war preceding the first BioShock. This mode features different game types like "Capture the Sister" and a character progression system.
